T100 srart

While we're waiting for the money to get started on the electrical for the 650 i figured i would start tearing down the 500. It was pretty mucked up but everythin was there and useable...i think.

650 progress

Just thought i would add some more pics of the 650. we gaot the wheels all laced up and the engine is pretty much assembled. Just waiting for some money to start the electrical.

My son Ben and I are embarking on a new project... Its a 1968 Triumph T120. we bought the bike as a basket case before we even knew exactly what we needed to build the bike. most of the big parts were there but there are plenty of smaller parts that were missing. Our fist order goal is to acquire all the little parts that weren't in the crates.

we are on a limited budget...like always....so we are going to try to do as much of it ourselves. we have gotten all the parts cleaned and ready to assemble.

We built the front end with all new parts; roller bearings, new tubes and bushings. everything was painted because the chrome was thrashed and we didn't want to spend the money to re chrome or powder coat. our goal is to build a bike that runs good rolls streight ride good and stop well. looks are not a priority. we wanna ride!

So here's the crew on the way to the Born Free motorcycle extravaganza, it was a great day. i couldn't believe how many old school bikes there were.I was there for 4hrs and i still dont think i checked out all of them. I cant wait for next year.

Imagine having all that horse power screaming in your face and that big rubber squealing in your ears...what a rush!

The Pan is comming along nicely.
